November 9
I Suggest You Read by Collen Hoover on November 9 is an entertaining and highly addictive YA novel. It’s a modern take on the “same time next year” romance trope. Ben and Fallon live separate lives except for the one day each year that they spend together. The book is very compelling, with a unique premise and a very compelling final plot twist. I would recommend this book to any adult.
I loved the way the characters lived and acted. I was genuinely moved by how much Fallon and Ben got along and that they were so happy together. I liked how Hoover interspersed their time together with major changes in their lives. The novel had a nice flow to it, though it could have been even better.
